How we protect your information
What we collect through the CancerCoach website, how it is used, and the rights available to you.
This policy is being finalised with our legal team. It reflects how CancerCoach handles your data and works today; the exact contracting entity and any market-specific terms will be confirmed here.
Who we are
CancerCoach is a remote cancer education and guidance service provided by Verita Life, part of the Verita Healthcare Group. This website (cancercoach.co) is operated by Verita Healthcare Group Limited, registered in Singapore (201534494W), at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051.
CancerCoach provides education and remote guidance. This website does not collect medical records, diagnoses, scans, or treatment history. If you go on to work with our care team, any clinical information you choose to share is handled separately, through secure channels, under the care relationship — not through this website.
What we collect
We only collect information you actively choose to give us, plus limited, privacy-safe analytics.
Enquiry and consultation forms
- Your name, email, phone number and country
- The message or details you choose to include
Program purchases
When you buy a program, payment is processed securely by Stripe. Stripe collects the name, email and payment details needed to take the payment. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your contact details — we never see or store your full card number.
Website analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics collects standard, privacy-safe usage information — pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, referring site, and approximate (city-level) location. Analytics events never include any health information: no diagnosis, cancer type, symptoms or treatment history.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free consultation
- To process your program purchase and give you access to it
- To explain relevant options and, with your agreement, follow up about CancerCoach and Verita Life services
- To keep the website secure and working well, and to meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Lawful bases
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or an equivalent law applies, we rely on: your consent (for analytics and marketing follow-up); the performance of a contract (to deliver a program you have purchased); and our legitimate interests (to respond to enquiries and run our service safely and securely).
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run CancerCoach, and only as far as needed:
- Stripe — to process program payments
- Pipedrive — our CRM, to manage and follow up your enquiry
- Google Analytics — for privacy-safe website analytics, only after you opt in
- Sanity — content delivery for the website
- Microsoft 365 — for our care team's email and, after purchase, secure scheduling and document handling
We may also disclose information where required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction. Our providers act under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes.
International transfers
CancerCoach operates internationally and works with providers in different countries, including Singapore and Thailand. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we put in place a safeguard recognised under the GDPR / UK GDPR.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: while we handle and follow up your request, then deleted or anonymised
- Purchases: for as long as needed to provide the program and meet tax and accounting obligations
- Analytics: retained for a limited period in Google Analytics, then aggregated
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. We will not usually charge a fee, and we may need to verify your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site uses very few cookies and no advertising or social tracking. The only thing stored without your consent is a single, strictly-necessary record of your own cookie choice. For details, see our Cookie policy.
Children
CancerCoach is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and will delete it if we become aware we have.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date below.
